There's good news and there's bad news. If you're like me, you take the bad news first-get it over with so you can move on to the good. Well the bad news is this: there is a real hell; it does exist. Jesus was very clear about it. When he told the account of the deaths of Lazarus and the unnamed rich man, he didn't call it a parable. He didn't say, "Hell is like..." He tells what happened to the two real people when they really died. It's not the only time Jesus talked about hell. From this story Jesus told, and from many other scriptures, we can piece together a picture of hell.
