Ezekiel 37:1-14
"The Valley of Dry Bones"

God takes Ezekiel to a valley strewn with human bones. They are so long dead they are bleached-out and dry. God asks the prophet, "Mortal, can these bones live?" What unfolds is an amazing vision of bones coming together, cartilage, and ligaments forming and connecting them. Then muscle and skin cover them, but the bodies lie there, still lifeless- until God breathes life into them just like he breathed life into the dust that became Adam. It's a story we read and we see! For the nation of Israel, it meant that their low period of spiritual death and exile would soon be over; they were going home. But what about us? What does it mean for Christians today?
