For the past several chapters, Paul has spoken about God’s miraculous intervention in our lives. God has known us in advance, he has predestined us to be with Him, he has called us, justified us, and even glorified us! When we stop and really contemplate what all that means, it should humble us. It should lead us to praise God for the amazing gift of His grace. And it should change the way we live! In chapter 12, Paul calls us to offer our bodies as “living sacrifices” to God.
